Well, normally, a second hand, will cost less than $1,000 dollars; a new one would probably cost about $2,500 and up, depending on the brand. There is one piano named Alma Tadema Steinway, it was sold in an action in 1988. The auction took place in London. Sterling and Francine Clark in Williamstown, Massachusetts bought it for $1.2 million dollars.I have the feeling that this is the most expensive piano ever sold.
