When I fall in love - beautiful piano piece

Let the dream of piano playing inside you live again

There are many things we enjoy doing when we were still young, but when we grow up we drifted into another interest - or did the interest really go away? I had a nice conversation with a person who said she likes piano playing when she was young. I said, how about now? do you still like it? she said, not much anymore. I asked another question - Do you still like to listen to beautiful piano pieces? She said yes, very much. I realized, after talking to her for an hour that she still like to play the piano, but thought it impossible because of her hectic schedule. Well, there is still a chance, it is never too late to make that dream alive again. If you like to learn about piano playing, find a good teacher, a teacher with patience and skill, then focus to your lessons, spare a few hours each week. In three or four months time, your piano playing will improve quickly.

The reason I became a piano teacher

A few days ago, I read an article written by a piano teacher. She expressed the reasons behind why she became a piano teacher. For others, her reasons might seem to be ordinary, yet to her, it is something that fills her heart with satisfaction. Actually, this said person dreamed to be a piano teacher. She said a piano teacher could experience several things that are irreplaceable, to name a few: happiness, commitment, excitement and pleasure. She said, if you are teaching piano to kids, you will feel that you have sons and daughters. You will also feel the joy of a hug after a lesson is done. Also, by teaching, you can develop the potential of creativity hiding inside you. Most of all, you produce future musicians. Lastly, you can derived money from it as well. If you like music, then becoming a piano teacher is a good option.

Am I too old to learn a piano?

The answer is a big NO. You or anyone is not too old to learn a piano, the same with other instruments. What is needed on your part is willingness to spare a part of your precious time. The difference between the young and the old in learning is TIME. when you are young, most often, you have more time than the older folks who are busy in making both ends meet. You can learn at any age, whether you are 10 or 110, it doesn't matter. Here are a few suggestions on how you can learn to play the piano. First, Hire a piano teacher. It is really good to learn with an expert. Number two, teach yourself with books. this type of learning is effective to those who want to learn at their own pace without any pressure. Number three, learn from video produced by piano teachers. Start learning today, remember the saying "A journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step".

Choosing a Piano

Whether old or new, what qualities do you look for in a piano? It is important that a piano will sound good, otherwise if you are learning to play it, you will lose the interest to go forward. Although piano experts can make a beautiful sound by playing the piano, it will all be ruined by a single string that is not properly tuned. Ok, here are the qualities you must look for in choosing a piano. Number one is, its size. A bigger piano with longer strings will sound better than a small one. If your room is spacious and you can afford a bigger piano, then get the latter.Second, know the condition of the piano. Meaning, you must tune it first. Of course, with the help of a piano tuner. that way, you will be aware if there are strings or part of it that needs to be repaired. Well, I guess the two can help you a lot in choosing a piano.

Take what you want and pay for it

There's a Rudolf Serkin story where he and a violinist were waiting on a cab to take them to their performance. Instead of waiting, Serkin went back inside for 10 extra minutes of practice. When the cab arrived, the violinist asked, "Will that really make your performance tonight any better?" Serkin replied, "Yes. Ten minutes better."

This anecdote epitomizes one of my favorite proverbs: "Take what you want and pay for it." I love this Spanish proverb because it addresses so many of life's conflicts. How many problems are caused by being unaware of what it is we really want or being unwilling to pay the price?

Having values means knowing your priorities and allocating your time and effort accordingly. It means thinking hard about how to gain and keep what you really want in life, instead of just drifting and hoping for the best. The value is what we want and time and energy are the price we pay for it. And since time and energy are limited, we have to find creative ways to employ these resources, as well as make decisions about what gets precedence in our life. We also have to make sure what we want is in line with our long term goals instead of just momentary whim. I think most people, myself often included, sell themselves short by being unaware of how these ends and means align.

If you want job fulfillment, are you willing to think hard about your long term goals and work towards them? If you want relationship fulfillment, are you willing to put in the time and attention to build something really great; to give someone else that much priority in your life? If you want robust health, are you willing to give up all that junk food and go to the gym regularly? In other words, are you willing to focus and act thoughtfully, instead of going with the flow and settling for mediocrity or worse?

Advice for piano students

It is good for every student to practice. The same with a piano learner, practicing is a must. In any art or sports, it is indeed noticeable that those who excel really sacrifice time in practicing. Piano is a special instrument, it has been existing for many years. However, a piano cannot be appreciated in its full beauty unless a good player's fingers touch its keyboards. Now, when practicing, a student must plan what he wants to practice ahead of time; that way, he or she will not be distracted on what to practice at the time he or she is practicing.
